Are you a Mac user and use Safari while doing Google search and ready to experience change in presentation?
On Mac Safari browser produced new organic search results are impressive, and more details are available which will help as a user like cached or similar. But too much of details in search results might affect the traffic on websites. From search engine optimization point of view in long run this will affect the overall traffic to your website as compared to previous months. But at the same time the possibilities are bright that your website might have an opportunity to bring only quality traffic which may have better conversion ratio.
Old organic search results used to be good when it comes to presentation and differentiating with paid ads. Though the traffic to your website was higher.
The new search results are impressive, and it might have a positive impact on your overall SEO effort. There is an important update by Safari browser when you use Google it produce visible results are having a different presentation, the addition of fab icon on the left side of each result looks good but on personal front as a user it is not looking that impressive that it should be. It should be shifter from left to right to differentiate between an organic search and a paid search. Though color difference and the presentation are different. But I still believe the paid search will have more clicks due to confusion between an organic search result or a paid search and it is obvious your PPC budget will be slightly higher.
Another noticeable thing is the first row doesn’t take a user to the destination while in Google chrome it is clickable. Out of 3 rows, one blue text is clickable and take you to the destination. This seems to be different. But the 1st row clickable option should be present to take a user to the destination.
Google presentation is simple and sweet but produce different results both the browsers are fetching different data from scattered data centers. But Google search results are still more accurate compared to other browsers that why they are still being considered as a leading player in search industry.
Overall it is a personal choice which machine you use or which browser your use but when it comes to get most accurate organic search, I believe Google is the best choice. But if you notice any change in presentation of results you feedback, and suggestions are welcome.
